Mekkitess knitted fabrics have almost half-century of life.Â
The company produces jersey, sweatshirt fabrics, interlock, piquet, ribs and any other type of knitted fabrics for men, women, and children’s wear and is aimed at the national and international clothing industry. Â
Its constant research is allowing the best stylists to create innovation and exclusivity. The company’s targets are the feasibility of the product, high-level quality of the basics and fashion products.
The strongly personalized service is capable to assist a more and more exigent and selected clientele.
Mekkitess is using natural fibers such as wool, cashmere, silk, linen or more sophisticated materials such as micromodal, nylon and viscose which are woven on 30 circular machines of the last generation.
The cotton yarns are absolutely selected and do not present any impurity.
The production is completely done within the company with a Made in Italy product,
taking benefit of the best external local dyeing and finishing companies.
Mekkitess has a commitment to environmental and social sustainability.
 The company is present throughout the national territory,
in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Croatia, United States, China and South Korea.

Our company is active in the field of fabric processing and more specifically in the dyeing, bleaching and finishing of fabrics since 1978. Â
The company possesses 16 dyeing machines, 9 knitting machines, modern finishing equipment and a biological treatment department. The dyes are both environmentally and people-friendly as well as certified with the eco-label Οeko-Τex® Standard 100.Â
Our company is involved in a research project funded by European Union program FP7-People-IAPP-WaSClean-612250, “Water and Soil Clean-up from Mixed Contaminants“.Â
The project aims to stimulate intersectoral collaboration
to develop and scale-up comprehensive technology
for the remediation of contaminated soils and groundwaters
from representative heavy metals (e.g. Pb, As, Cr, Cd, Hg),
persistent organic pollutants (lindane, atrazine, obsolete pesticides),
and synthetic dyes (reactive blue, red, black from the textile industry).
